How to create a discount code?

Studio Info -> Plans & Pricing -> Discount Codes -> Create New code

Step 1: Enter Basic Details

Service:

If you want it to be applicable for all i.e. Group classes, Workshops and Video plans, then select “Any”.

Or select the correct service.

Please note that Discount codes are not applicable for Personal class module and hence you will not see it in the list.

Discount Code:

Give the name for the discount code. Make it easy so that people can remember and type it.

% Discount:

It is here that you give the %age of discount that you want to give for this code.

Validity Period [in IST]:

Select the start date and time and also the end date and time here.

Display Discount code on Student Site:

If this is checked, then the Discount codes will be visible to the relevant students so that they can use it for checkout.

If this is not checked, then the Discount codes will not been seen in the student site by the relevant students.
The teacher will have to share the student code with the student and then the student can use that to avail discounts.

Step 2: Choose eligible plans

Select the plans in the dropdown here.

Step 3: Choose eligible students

Open to all Students:

All the students will be able to avail the discount when this is checked.

Open only to these Student segments:

Say you want to give a certain set of people some offer eg: people who have attended a specific workshop will get a discount when they subscribe to your regular plans or this is open to only newly registered students.

Steps to be followed:
Create a segment of people who attended the workshops or for newly registered students [give the registered dates while creating a segment]
Create a discount code and select thie option

Open only to students with these Email ids:

By selecting this, you will be asked to type the emails of the students whom you would like to give this discount.

Step 4: Additional Conditions

Number of times a student can use this discount code

If you want the students to only use it once, then give "1" here.

If you are okay with them using unlimited time during the period, then leave it blank.

Minimum term needed to make this discount code eligible (in days)

This is about the pricing.

Eg: You have a plan with validity period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
You want to give discount offer only for long term plans like 6 and 12 months.

In that case, you can mention 180 days here. This translates to min of 6 months.

So whoever buys 6 and 12 months plan will be able to avail this offer.

Step 5: Select eligible regions or countries for this discount code

If you are using only INR and not Geo Pricing, then you will be asked to select the INR.

However if you are having Geo-pricing, then you can give certain countries some discount.

Eg: You have an offer of 15% for your US students. Whereas in India, you do not have the discount. In that case, you can just select “Applicanble for USD”

If you want to give Australian students a discount of say 10%, then you click on “Choose individuals countries and currencies”. Here you can add Australia.

Step 6: Maximum discount per transaction

You can set the maximum limit here.

Eg: If the original price is INR 100 and the discount is 20%. The initial discount in this case is INR20, but you can still limit it to INR10 if you choose to.
Leave empty to always allow for full discount.
