# How to give free classes for students?

There are 3 ways of doing it:

1. Create a Manual Subscription
2. Create a Segment and a new Plan and Pricing 
3. Create a Segment and a discount code for the students in these segments.

To do any of the above steps, please ensure that the student is registered in the system.

**1. Creating Manual Subscriptions:**

a. [Create a new manual subscription](https://practicenow.crisp.help/en/article/manual-subscriptions-1pb411r/): Student -> All Students -> Click on the Student's name -> Create Subscription
b. Since you want to offer these classes as free, _enter the Billing Amount as INR 0_ [or in the currency of your choice].

**2. Create a Segment and a new Plan and Pricing **

b. Create a new Plan [In Restrict option -> Choose this newly created segment]
c. Create the Pricing [ Make the amt as "0"}

**3. Create a Segment and a discount code for the students in these segments.**

b. [Create a new Discount code](https://practicenow.crisp.help/en/article/how-to-create-discount-codes-1jniqt0/) [In Studio Info -> Plans & Pricing -> Discount code -> Create new discount code -> In "Eligible student option" Choose this newly created segment]
