Unpaid Classes

Unpaid classes are sessions that students have attended but haven't yet paid for. These classes can occur because:

  • Students pay at the end of the month
  • Payment is collected after they finish attending the class
  • Studios offer flexible payment terms
  • Payment collection is still in process

How They Work

  • Classes are checked in in the system
  • Students are considered "active" when they attend
  • The system tracks both paid and unpaid attendance

Common Scenarios

  1. Monthly Payment
  • Student attends classes throughout January
  • Payment is collected at month-end
  • Classes are "unpaid" until payment is received

  1. Flexible Payment
  • Student starts classes immediately
  • Payment is pending or scheduled for later
  • Classes are tracked as "unpaid" until payment

  1. Delayed Payment
  • Student attends regular classes
  • Payment is collected after several weeks/months
  • System maintains accurate attendance records

Important Notes

  • Unpaid classes represent actual platform usage
  • Studios are billed for active paying students. This also includes payment received in the future for the classes attended during then billing cycle.
  • Payment status can be updated at any time
  • Historical data remains accurate after payment

Management Options

If you know certain students won't pay:

  • Create 0 manual subscriptions
  • Update their status in the system
  • Maintain records while preventing future charges
