Auto-check-ins for Video recordings
Turn this on from here:
Admin -> Classes -> Zoom recording settings -> Zoom Cloud Recordings: Auto-Checkin
How does this work?
Let’s say, the student didn’t attend this morning’s class, but watched the recording, a few hours later.
Do you think that should still count as a class check-in? If yes, Just turn on the above setting.
The student will then see a popup, telling that a check-in will be added when he/she watch a recording.
Here’s how the popup looks for a student:
Please Note: Multiple check-ins will not be added for the same class
eg:
1. The student attends the live class and also watches the recordings. Only the live recording will be considered as check-in in this case
2. The student watches the same recording multiple times. Only the first view of the recording will be added as a check-in in this case
