How to change the zoom account of a studio

Steps involved in the process of changing the zoom account in PracticeNow:


Follow these 4 steps below to successfully switch your connected Zoom account:


Step 1: Delete Existing Classes


  • Go to Classes → Upcoming Classes
  • Locate the class you want to update
  • Click Delete next to the class
  • When prompted, choose one of the following:
    • This and upcoming classes (recommended)
    • All classes except finished classes
This ensures that existing sessions linked to the old Zoom account are cleared


Step 2: Deactivate the Current Zoom Connection


  • Navigate to Studio Info → Studio Details → Zoom
  • Click on Deactivate Zoom


To fully remove the Zoom connection, follow one of the methods below:


Option A: Via Zoom App Marketplace (Recommended)

  • Go to: https://marketplace.zoom.us/
  • Sign in to your Zoom account
  • Click Manage (top-right corner)
  • Select Added Apps
  • Find the app and click Remove



Option B: Via Zoom Desktop Client

  • Open the Zoom desktop app
  • Click your Profile Picture → Settings
  • Go to Zoom Apps
  • Disable the app (if applicable)


Option C: Admin-Level Removal

  • Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as an admin
  • Go to Manage → Apps on Account
  • Select the app
  • Click Manage App → Remove



Step 3: Reauthorize Zoom


  • Go to PracticeNow Admin → Studio Info → Studio Details
  • Click Authorize Zoom
  • Complete the authorization with your new Zoom account



Step 4: Recreate Your Classes


  • Go back to Classes
  • Recreate your sessions as needed
Your new classes will now be linked to the updated Zoom account.


If something doesn’t work as expected, it’s usually due to incomplete deactivation in Step 2—double-check that the app has been fully removed from Zoom before reauthorizing.
