What happens when a student gets disconnected in the middle of the class?
Link to Join the class
Scenario:
Eg: The student had an issue with the network and got disconnected automatically while she was about 45 mins into the class.
Solution:
The "Join" link would be shown until the end of the class. Eg. if the Teacher has the class for 60 mins, the "Join" button for this class would be shown to the student until the end of 60 mins.
So during this time, the student after relogging into the student site would be able to see the "Join" button and they can rejoin the class and continue the class.
In case, the teacher overshoots the class time beyond the actual time of 60 mins, the student is now trying to join at 61st min, then the student would not see the "Join" button anymore.
If you think, the teacher is always going to overshoot the classes, it is better to give the actual time of the class .i.e. if the Teacher always takes 70 mins class, then its better to give the No of mins as 70 while creating the class.
Check-In
If the student checks-in into the same class while rejoining the session, then the check-in would only be considered as 1.
In case after disconnected, the student re-joins the next class and checks-in, then the student would have 2 check-ins - 1st from the first class where he/she got disconnected and 2nd from the new class that he/she rejoined.
