What is a Segment
Student -> Segment
A segment allows you to group students into various categories.
It can be used for 3 purposes:
For more customized reports
Eg: You may want to know at any point of time, how many students are subscribed to which plans
To show plans for subscription to only relevant people
You can associate the segment to a specific plan. Once done, only those students in this segment would be able to see the plan.
Eg: The plan for your advanced classes needs to be seen by the Advanced level Practitioners only.
To send e-mails to certain set of people
Eg: You would want to send e-mails with Offers to students who have attended your trial class but are yet to subscribe to your classes.
Please note: The student should be registered in your student site to be included in the Segment
