Why are RazorPay account created by PracticeNow?
We use a RazorPay product called Routes [https://razorpay.com/docs/payments/route/]
Here's how it works:
We have a "Super Merchant" account with RazorPay (This comes with many benefits - including lower transaction charges, international card support, a "Trusted Business" badge on the checkout page, much better support etc).
When we onboard new customers, we create a "Sub-merchant account" for you (with your bank details)
When payments arrive for you, from your students - the funds are instantly routed to your Sub-merchant account using the "Routes" product (that I mentioned above).
The benefits of the SuperMechant account automatically get passed on to you as well - including the International Card support. Usually there's additional paperwork involved to turn that on - along with some due diligence process from RazorPay.
