Why is Zoom asking for passcode?

There are 2 reasons:

Reason 1:

After the recording is done in Zoom, it uploads to your GDrive. GDrive takes time to process the file.

So until the processing is done in Google Drive, the video streams directly from zoom for the student.

In your zoom account, you would have set the password for your recordings.

So when the video streams directly from zoom, and the student clicks on "Watch", they will get a pop-up with the zoom passcode and use this passcode to watch that video.

Once this video is processed in Google drive, they will no longer see this passcode.

Reason 2:

When the link between the browser and zoom is broken. This will happen in a specific device.

In this case, please ask to either:
Restart the device or
Clear the browser cache.
