Resend Confirmation Link

Overview

The Resend Confirmation Link feature allows admins and students to resend the email verification link required for verifying a student’s email address.

When triggered, a new verification email is automatically sent to the student’s registered email ID. The student must click the verification link in the email to complete the verification process.

Admin Access to Resend Confirmation Link

On the admin side, the Resend Confirmation Link appears on the student membership page in the following scenarios:

1. When the student’s email address is updated or changed.
2. When the student’s registered status is Link Sent.

How Admins Can Resend the Confirmation Link

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to the admin portal.
2. Navigate to Students.
3. Select All Students.
4. Search for the specific student.
5. Open the student’s Membership Details.
6. Locate the student’s email address.
7. Click Resend Confirmation Link next to the email ID.

Once clicked, a new email verification link is automatically sent to the student’s registered email address.

Student Access to Resend Confirmation Link

Students will also see the Resend Confirmation Link option under specific conditions.

If the student’s registered status is Link Sent and they have not verified their email address even after 48 hours from registration, a green notification bar will appear prompting them to resend the confirmation link.

The student can use this option to receive a new verification email.

Verification Link Expiry

• The verification link sent to the student expires within 6 hours.
• If the student attempts to use the link after it has expired, the link will no longer work.
• In such cases, the confirmation link must be resent again either:
• • By the student using the resend option, or
  • By the admin from the student membership page.

Important Notes

• Email verification is mandatory for successfully verifying the student’s registered email ID.
• Expired verification links cannot be reused.
