Unbundled plans

Unbundling your pricing plans

What is this?

You may want to price different classes differently. Let's say, you have 3 types of classes:

- Hatha Yoga
- Ashtanga Vinyasa
- Yoga Nidra

And let's say you want to charge different rates for each of the above classes, you can do that as follows:

Create 3 plans - one each to match the above 3 plans. You can do that here: Studio Info -> Plans & Pricing -> Manage plans
When you create a plan, you'll need to select the classes you want to associate with that plan. You'll find this option in the "Eligible group classes for this plan" section. For example, when you're creating the "Hatha Yoga" plan, you'll need to choose the "Hatha Yoga" class from the list of classes.
All packages that you now create for the Hatha Yoga plan will now automatically be associated to the "Hatha Yoga" class.
You can also confirm the plan has been associated correctly by reviewing the "Hatha Yoga" class details. You can do that here: Online Classes -> Upcoming Classes -> Click on "Edit" against the "Hatha Yoga" class -> Scroll down to the "Associated plans" section. If you see the "Hatha Yoga" listed there, you're good.

Tip: Open the student portal [YourStudioName.practicenow.us] in a new tab in your browser. Click on "Fees". And refresh the screen as and when you make changes to your plans.

Combo plans

You may also want to offer combo plans. For example, you could provide access to both Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra - under a "combo" plan.

To do this, create a Combo Plan under "Manage Plans". You could name this as "Hatha + Yoga Nidra", for example.

And then choose both Hatha and Yoga Nidra in the "Eligible classes" section.

Show/Hide ineligible classes

Once a student has purchased a certain plan, they will not be able to join classes that are not available in that plan.

But you can choose to show or hide the ineligible classes to the student.

In the above example, let's say the student has purchased the "Hatha + Vinyasa" combo plan. You may still want the student to know that you offer "Ashtanga Vinyasa" classes as well - even though they cannot attend those classes.

You can configure the visibility of ineligible classes from the "Create/Edit Classes" form [Upcoming classes -> "Create class" or "Edit"]

Scroll down to the "Visibility for Eligible classes" section and turn on/off the setting based on your requirement.
