Zoom: How to add more Zoom users to PracticeNow
You can add multiple Free and Paid Zoom users to your PracticeNow account.
This is needed whenever you want to have parallel/overlapping Zoom classes at the same time.
For example, if you have a Hatha Yoga class at 7AM taught by you. And a Pranayama class also at 7AM taught by another teacher [for different students, of course].
In the above case, you would need to connect a second Zoom user to your current PracticeNow account.
How to connect additional Zoom users to PracticeNow
You have already connected your current Zoom user to PracticeNow.
Let’s call this first-zoom@gmail.com
Now Let’s say you now want to add another Zoom user to PracticeNow: second-zoom@gmail.com.
second-zoom@gmail.com may or may not already have a paid Zoom license. Both are fine.
All you need to make sure is that you can login to your email id second-zoom@gmail.com
What is “Zoom user"? And how is it different from a "Zoom account”?
Its a parent-child relationship. A "Zoom Account” [parent] can have any number of “Zoom users” [children] attached to it.
Therefore in the above scenario, the goal is to attach the second-zoom@gmail.com Zoom user [child] to the first-zoom@gmail.com Zoom Account [parent]
Step by step instructions:
Invite second-zoom to join the first-zoom account
Follow these instructions
Note: For the user type, choose “Basic"
Accept the invitation to join the first-zoom account
Follow these instructions
Note: You may also need request for a refund of the pro-rated funds in second-zoom. See more below in the next step ["What if I already have a second Zoom license?"]
Buy a new paid license in the first-zoom account
Follow these instructions
NOTE: You can skip this step if you want to use second-zoom as a free Zoom user.
For example, if the parallel/overlapping class you want to take is a one-on-one personal class - then you don’t need another Zoom paid license.
Assign the new license to second-zoom
Follow these instructions
NOTE: You can skip this step if you want to use second-zoom as a free Zoom user.
Login to admin.practicenow.us -> Online classes -> Upcoming classes -> Create Class
Open the “Zoom user” dropdown. You’ll see the "second-zoom" user added there.
What if I already have a Zoom license attached to second-zoom?
If you already have a second license, you will need to discontinue that license and then buy another one before you can attach it to PracticeNow.
This may sound unnecessary - but the reason this step is needed is this:
Your second Zoom license is connected to another independent Zoom account - and that account is not connected to PracticeNow yet.
But don’t worry..Zoom will credit your account with the pro-rated balance when you discontinue your current license.
So, you won’t lose any money in the process.
The steps for doing this are mentioned below:
