[Write-up] [Self Subscription] Lock the Currency for Fees for the students
When do you use this?
You want to avoid your students paying in a currency other than the one of their location.
Eg: A student is supposed to pay in Euro as he/she is staying in Europe. But he/she asks someone from India to pay in INR.
You want your students to view and pay the fees in a specific currency, while they are travelling.
How does it work?
It works at 2 different levels:
1. Studio Level settings
At studio level, this feature will be able to automatically set the currency of the student matching the student's contact number.
This would be applicable throughout the studio.
Eg: If a student's phone no is started with +91, the system will set the currency in INR. If the student's no starts from +1, the system will automatically set the currency for such student as USD.
2. Student Level settings
You can manually lock the currency for a specific student so that the student will be able to pay the fee in the same currency.
Eg: If the student has an Indian phone no but is based in US, then you can lock the currency to show the fees in USD.
Please note:
1. This feature will work only when the Geo-pricing add on is turned on.
2. You can set it at studio level and then student level as well.
Steps to set this feature
Studio level setting
How to select 'Auto-set currency for students based on their contact number
Login to admin --> Billing --> Manage add-ons --> Select the options "Enable Geo Pricing add-on" and "Auto-set currency for students based on their contact number"

This will ensure that the currency for your students are set according to their contact number.
You will be able to change the student's currency manually to some other currency. You can see how to set a currency for a student by yourself in the section Student level setting below.
Student level setting
There are 2 scenarios based on which this feature can be set:
a. When the "Auto-set currency for students based on their contact number" i.e. the studio level setting is turned on
b. When the "Auto-set currency for students based on their contact number" i.e. the studio level setting is turned off
In both the above scenarios,
Login to admin --> Students --> Search and select the student --> Update currency --> Select the currency and update.
