What is Subscription Start Date?

When do you add a Subscription Start Date?

1. You don't want the subscription to start before a certain date
2. You have a group class or workshop starting at a future date
3. You are opening up a subscription for the subsequent month

Setting up Subscription Start Date

a. If you want to add it to a single plan:

Go to Studio Info -> Plans & Pricing -> Edit Plan

b. If you want to add the same subscription start date for multiple plans:

Go to Studio Info -> Plans & Pricing -> Select the plans by checking the plan on the left -> Click on "Action" drop-down on the top -> Select Change Subscription Start date and give the date

How does it work?

Say you added the Subscription Start Date as 5th May for a plan while you are still in Apr.

If your students buy the subscription on or before 5th May, their subscription will start on 5th May.

From May 6th, the subscription would start immediately.

Eg: If your student buys the subscription on Apr 29th, then his subscription will start only on May 5th.

If the student buys the subscription on May 10th, then it will start immediately i.e. on May 10th.

If a student renews the subscription

Scenario 1: If they renew with an active subscription expiring before May 5th

Then the subscription of the student will only start on May 5th.

Scenario 2: If they renew with an active subscription expiring after May 5th

Say on May 6th, its expiring. Then the subscription for this student will start on May 7th only.
