When Does a Student's Subscription Expire?

A student's subscription expires based on whichever happens first:

1. The student completes all the classes included in the subscription, before the subscription validity ends.
2. The subscription reaches its end date, even if the student has not completed all the classes.

Scenario 1: Subscription Expires After All Classes Are Used

If a student completes all the classes in their subscription before the validity period ends, the subscription expires immediately.

Example

• Subscription validity: 20 June – 25 June
• Classes purchased: 1
• Student attends the class: 20 June

Since the student has used the only class in the subscription, the subscription expires immediately on 20 June, even though the earlier validity was until 25 June.

Scenario 2: Subscription Expires on the End Date

If the student does not complete all the classes before the subscription end date, the subscription expires on the validity end date.

Example

• Subscription validity: 20 June – 25 June
• Classes purchased: 1
• Student does not attend any class

The subscription expires on 25 June, and the unused class cannot be used after the expiry date.

Extending a Student's Subscription

If you would like to allow the student to continue after the subscription has expired, you have the following options.

Scenario 1: Student Completed All Classes Before the End Date

Example:

• The student purchased 1 class.
• They attended the class on 20 June, so the subscription expired immediately.
• You would like to give them another class on 24 June.

You can:

• Edit the existing subscription (if applicable), or
• Create a Manual Subscription with the required number of classes and validity dates.

Scenario 2: Subscription Expired Due to the End Date

Example:

• The subscription validity ended on 25 June.
• The student did not complete all their classes before the expiry.

You can create a Manual Subscription and specify:

• A new validity period (starting from the date you want the student to continue).
• The number of classes you want to provide (such as the remaining classes or any additional classes).

Recommendation: Creating a Manual Subscription is the recommended approach when extending access after a subscription has expired, as it provides complete control over the new validity period and class count.
